I think design should be practical, helpful and serve a clear purpose. I know what works. I like to discuss design, to criticise my own and others to improve and come up with new ideas.
For the past 20 years, I have designed all kinds of projects and worked with printed media when it was still ’manual handwork’ until it all became digital. From ads, magazines, brochures and manuals to user interfaces, websites and apps, logos, company profiles and much more. This has also given me a good taste for other creators’ work.
I handle all my creative software with a safe hand (better than any home appliance) and any other useful tools needed to achieve a good end result.

As Senior UX Designer at Rekyl (reg. Schotte Systems AB) i work closely with the development team to redesign the main system and surrounding products of the business application Rekyl. In addition I have offered my skills as marketing designer for redesigning the websites, print and online marketing material.

Art Director
Etraveli Group, Uppsala/Stockholm
As Art Director and Head of Brand & Design at Etraveli Group I have guided the company and my design team into developing and standardising the functionality, user experience, interaction and graphic profile. This has led to an online travel offer recognised to be a world class level product, attracting and cementing the partnership of international businesses such as Booking.com, Expedia, and all major airlines and ancillary suppliers.
Key to success has been managing the UX Team in developing the UI’s for the approximately 17 online travel agency brands. Some of the brands are Flight Network, Gotogate, Supersaver and Travelstart. Standardising and developing the graphic profile for Etraveli Group and the B2C brands has also added to the brand recognition.

2014 – 2015
Interaction Designer
Ericsson, Stockholm
For 6 months I worked as an Interaction Designer at Ericsson’s headquarters in Kista, Stockholm. I joined the BUSS / DU UX Team where I worked with programmers and UX designers. My work consisted mainly of standardizing design for user interfaces for software development and graphic prototypes for presentations of product ideas to larger companies within mainly telecom and the automotive industry.

I started Apparenza to engage myself in more varied design assignments and gain more creative freedom. With Apparenza I offer the design of websites, print and marketing products, as well as illustrations and company profiling for small and medium-sized companies in varied industries.

Graphic Designer

My work at Detail featured varied graphic productions for retail and company chains such as LIFE (lifebutiken.se) who is constantly working on online campaigns and graphic updates of their webshop. Continuous production of banners and printed media.

Vajer [WIRE] Advertisement Agency, Uppsala
At Vajer I worked with advertising productions, illustrations and designs for both print and digital media. Our customers included companies manufacturing and offering medical accessories, distribution and e-commerce.
2004 – 2007
Graphic Designer & Photographer
F22 Studio, Uppsala
F22 Studio has a large photo studio of about 1000 square feet near central Uppsala. I was employed as a graphic designer to handle larger productions exceeding the photographic services such as newspapers, brochures, catalogs and web. I was also schooled in photographing and was shooting both in the studio and on the field. The assignments usually consisted of photographing products, interiors and portraits for companies within real estate, medical technology and furniture design.
The combination of design and photography gave me a lot of experience in photography for print, video and web productions.
1999 – 2004
Art Director / Production Manager
inWarehouse, Stockholm
InWarehouse were pioneers within e-commerce, offering IT products in Sweden. They also utilized Data Publishing solutions with price robots for their main direct marketing productions of catalogs that were delivered every month. Within the hardware product area, I worked with direct marketing, catalog, and webshop productions. The work was often ordered by Apple, Microsoft, HP, Epson and other well known manufacturers and partners. In addition to design, I led the production team in this product area, which consisted of three additional designers.
I also created a new profile and logo for InWarehouse, which was previously called MicroWarehouse.
January 1, 2014, inWarehouse merged with the e-commerce company komplett.se
